I broke down and signed back up for net flix at the $18 level. I heard block buster does it for $16.

Southwest does it right

Southwest airlines has one type of plane.

One set of spare parts.
One set of mechanics. They can move mechaincs from city to city and not have to worry about what planes they are certified on.
No wacky pricing models - One way costs more than round trip - If you stay over a Sat it is 80% less

Let them all close up, someone like Richard Branson will launch Virgin airlines here in the US (I know that foreign airlines can not takeoff and land in US cities, the law would be changed) and start making money.

Why are we bailing out airlines?

Aloha Airlines filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection protection.

Hawaiian Airlines is also in bankruptcy.

I have flown Hawaiian four times to the mainland in the last three months. Everytime the plane has been 'full'. Standby passengers hoping to be able to get on.

They are just not good at doing business. Tourism is 30% higher than ever before in Hawaii. You can't get a hotel room in Waikiki. The people aren't swimming here from the mainland and Asia.

Out with old & in with the new.

Two years in a row I have won this. Oh well, better than not getting anything back!

They have a Hawaii distribution point now. Should get movies faster.

MLB owners and management have no power over the Players Union. They knew that through negociation they could not get drug testing approved. Without drug testing they could lost their anti-trust exemption from congress. If they lose that there might be a second 'drug free' league (see the movie Gattaca) Chicks love the long ball....but not when everyone, even pitchers hit 20 dingers a year.

MLB owners and management controlled the leak of information. Notice the order.....First the sacrificial lamb, Giambi, then Bonds the next day. Why wouldn't you lead with Bonds? They wanted Bonds' infraction to 'not be as bad' as Giambi because Bonds puts butts in seats. Giambi is no saint but he did get srewed.

The group that has the most to gain from the BALCO grand jury testimony being released is the NBA.

No one is talking about Ron Artest anymore.

I think the NBA/NBA Sponsors/Television Sponsors had a hand in the release.

He gets a chance to play football and turns it down.

How is he paying his lawyer & agent?

His lawyer did such a good job negociating a deal that lets him play next year....then he turns it down.

He must be messed up mentaly. I take it back, I don't think it is an IQ issue. If he was just stupid, he could be convinced by the people around him to play football. Hope he gets some help.
