Pats favored by 7

I can not beleive that the Pats are favored by so much.

I guess they figured anything less than a touchdown would get too much money on the Pat's.

It must have been really tight because they HATE to not have the 1/2 point in the line. If there is a 1/2 point in the line, there is NO chance for a tie. When there is a tie, everyone gets their money back - NO vig for the house.

I wouldn't be suprised if it moves to 6 1/2 before the end of next week.

If you are going to bet on the Pats, I would wait, I can't see the line going the other way.

YMMV

Went 1-1 over the weekend

I love it when I win the first of two games. You know the worst you can do is lose the vig.

Eagles - The Eagles played like I tought they would. I was suprised how many times Kearse was able to get near Vick. I didn't think Kearse was that fast.

Pats - I don't think the Pats did anything to comfuse Big Ben. He just had some bad passes. The first INT was a case of the 'I've never been here before' nerves. The INT for a TD was a bad decision. After analyzing the play, it was a stright forwad coverage - he just screwed up. I am most dissapointed in the Steelers O-line, I thought they would win the game. The teenie weenie Pat's controlled the line of scrimage.

Ticket to the Superbowl

If anyone has an extra ticket to the Superbowl I would take it.

It doesn't matter where the seats are.

Line on the Superbowl

Just saw a line on the Superbowl.

AFC is favored by 4.5

The only matchup I see changing that is the Steelers vs. Flacons. I think the line on that game would be more AFC by 6

If you think the Falcons will win today, you might want to get some of that aciton.

My picks for this weekend

Philadelphia -5 - They won't make the same mistake the Rams did. They will contain Vick a lot better. The Eagles offense will be able to kick it up a notch to win by a touchdown.

Steelers +3 - This line is a huge over reaction to how good the Pats looked and how bad the Steeleres looked. The smart money is on the Steelers

Looking to come back from a not so good weekend last week.

YMMV

Embarrass, Minnesota, hits 54 below - So much for global warming

Now this is cold!

Went 1-3 on picks

Here is my break down:

Jets-Steelers:
Should have known the Jets would play tough & the Steelers would be lathargic.

St. Louis - Atlanta:
I really thought the Rams would be able to score more points than they did. I knew Atlanta would score, I won with the over. I thought it would be - the winner was the team with the ball last.

Minnesota - Philladelphia:
The Vikes just looked like crap. Eagles were average, they had a lot of breaks, but if the Vikes played like they played last week, they would have won outright

New England - Indianapolis:
I didn't think the Colts would be that shabby, but somehow they kept the Colt's receivers from running after the catch. I think the MVP for that team should be the down linemen who got into Manning's face. Even when he had time, no one seemed to be open.

I think I have to go with the Steelers in the AFC Championship. Steelers looked so bad & the Pats looked so good I think the line will be really scewed to get money bet on each side.
